Some information on Busan and Seoul bus services from Geoje:

There is a regular limousine bus service to Nambu Bus Station in Seoul from Gohyeon Bus Terminal. These buses operate from 05:40 until 24:00.  A one way ticket is approx. KRW40.000 for an adult and KRW16.000 for a child. The return ticket can be bought at the bus terminal in Seoul. Journeys can be sold out quickly so do not delay in purchasing your tickets if you need to travel on specific dates and times. The trip lasts approx. four hours. There is one stop midway for 15-20 minutes, for toilet breaks.  Drivers are strict with this time so ensure you return to the bus on time. Your arrival point in Seoul is Nambu Bus Terminal. This is the ONLY one of several express bus terminals in Seoul from which you can return to Geoje.  There is a subway station (line 3, orange route) and a taxi rank outside Nambu bus terminal for further transportation.

Note that there is no one website in English which gives information and allows you to make online bookings for intercity buses. This is because different bus terminals use different websites. Two sites which do provide an English language service are TxBus and BusTago.

1. TxBus. Bus schedules to all destinations from Gohyeon are available in English and reservations can also be made on this site : https://txbus.t-money.co.kr  It also gives information and allows booking from Seoul Nambu to Geoje, as well as from some (but not all) other city bus terminals to Geoje. Note that only Korean cards can be used to pay when booking on this website. When you go to the bus terminal, you will need to print out your ticket from the machine.

2. BusTago. This site provides information and allows reservations to be made online for Busan Sasang and Gimhae airport to Geoje, as well as for Incheon airport to Geoje: www.bustago.or.kr/newweb/en/ticket/ticket.do

Follow this link for some useful tips for booking bus tickets on sites where English language is not available:

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office if boarding at Gohyeon or Jangseungpo Bus Terminals. If boarding in Okpo, you can buy your ticket from the store behind the bus stop near the Foreigners Mart, across the street from Lotte Mart. The bus timetable is displayed in the window. Once an hour, the bus from Jangseungpo/Okpo stops at Gimhae International Airport. Buses to the airport also depart from Gohyeon Bus Terminal.

Bus 2000 - Yeoncho/Okpo/Deokpo to Hadan Subway Station, Busan. There are two bus stops on Starbucks street in Okpo for the number 2000 bus service to Hadan Subway Station in Busan. One is located at the first bus stop coming down from Route 14; the other is at the stop just past the petrol station, going up the hill towards Deokpo. Tickets should be purchased on the bus. Information on other bus stops in Geoje is available on the WelCOMM agency link, given above.
